News: The Big Easy Film Festivals will be running both the Big Easy Shorts Festival (now in it's 3rd year) and the Big Easy International Film Festival, which will focus solely on feature films while the Shorts Festival will continue to focus on short films.
By expanding to two venues, we can show New Orleans the best of both worlds!
We will also be launching a 72 Hour Film Contest which will take place the week before the festival.
Friends of New Orleans is a private, non-profit, non-partisan, membership organization for people in the U.S. and abroad who care about this region. Our mission is to advocate for New Orleans and its surrounding parishes, inform people of those key issues that are shaping the national debate and decision making of the rebuilding effort, link individuals who want to help with the communities in the devastated areas, and motivate people to take part in the rebuilding effort.
